Front-end Engineer

Front-end developers at DevObsessed are passionate about implementing the ways a user interacts with a software product. While our expertise is not limited to JavaScript, a large amount of recent UI work has been happening in JavaScript, especially the most popular and widely supported JavaScript Frameworks.

Desired Experience with one or more

• Frontend JavaScript frameworks: AngularJS, Angular, React, Vue.js
• Modern JavaScript (ES2015+, Babel), TypeScript
• Automated build tooling: Webpack, Parcel, Gulp.js, or Grunt
• Dependency management using npm, Yarn, or Bower
• Automated unit testing tools: Jasmine, Jest, Karma, Mocha/Chai/Sinon, or AVA
• Automated end-to-end testing tools: Protractor, TestCafe, Nightwatch, Cypress, or other Selenium-based technologies

Nice to have

• Demonstrative understanding of functional reactive programming
• CSS and HTML5
• CSS Pre-processors: SASS, LESS, or PostCSS
• CSS Frameworks: Bootstrap, Foundation, Tachyons, or similar
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Understanding of responsive design
• Experience with NodeJS services (Express, hapi, Serverless)
• Experience with hosting services: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Heroku, or similar
